Green Side Up Contracting is an award-winning contractor that was established in Toronto back in 2000.  The President and founder, Jay Saveall started off with an old pick-up truck and a lawn mower cutting lawns for residential homes. In the winter he plowed snow from driveways. As a sole proprietor, Jay had to figure out the ins and outs of the business, and he quickly realized that delivering excellence to his clients would yield great benefits. In the first couple of years in business Green Side's revenue quickly grew and along with the revenue growth came with employees.

 

In 2002, Jay took Green Side Up into the landscape construction business, focusing on interlocking driveways, walkways, pool decks, retaining walls, and plantings.  Again, he learned that delivering excellence would yield excellent results. In 2004 Green Side Up, became incorporated and the name changed to Green Side Up Contracting Inc. The team at Green Side Up Contracting consisted of 14 employees who were focusing on landscape construction, carpentry, and composite deck building.

Fast forward to 2022, Jay purchased a property in Largo Florida, and hired several different contractors to help him remodel his house. He quickly realized that the quality of the contractor market in Florida is sub-par and not even remotely close in comparison to the level of service and quality of workmanship that Green Side Up Contracting offers. Jay saw this as an opportunity. An opportunity for business, but an opportunity to deliver excellence to his neighbor in Florida, and has partnered with a carefully selected professional from New Port Richey.
